Euphorbias - Flowers of the Dougherty Garden - November 7, 2019
This is a large Red Euphorbia Plants that is in a sunny location of the Dougherty Garden. I have a few Euphorbia plants in the garden and they are planted in various areas of the Dougherty Garden.
I noticed that when I crouched down to get at the base of this Euphorbia plant to cut off a small cutting that another variation of the Euphorbia plant was growing in between these two large Euphorbia plants. I'll get to remove this plant at a later date and place/pot it at another time.
Just where the small white Periwinkle flowers are where I found the other, smaller Euphorbia plant. At another time, I'll remove the smaller version of the Euphorbia plant. This was the area where I found a small Euphorbia plant and cut it out of the ground. I used the same area of the Euphorbia plant on the right, and near the base of the plant to cut away a section of the Euphorbia plant.
I just potted up these cuttings from the base of the large Red Flowering Euphorbia plant. It was potted up today and I placed a few stems from the Serenoa Repens Palm Tree. I use these pieces from the Serenoa Repens to hold plants up in their pots to keep the wind from blowing them over while the roots are forming on the young plant.
