Here is another plant from the Dougherty Garden compliments of Ruth Tropical Graden, the Madagascar Jewel. When I first received this plant, I misplaced the name and searched the internet for a picture and was under the impression that it was a cactus. I finally found a picture and it is called the Madagascar Jewel. This plant knows how to survive and is constantly throwing off seeds which germinate directly below the plant.
