One of my favorites is that of the time that I spend in the Dougherty Garden. I have been gardening since my early days in Yorkville and the first place that I think that I had planted something was in the dirt near the pole that held the clotheslines in the back yard. Soon after that, Lena Kulzer, our neighbor on 85th Street introduced me to gardening in Shenerock, New York. So, I've been gardening in some sort of manner for over 60+ years. The Dougherty Garden and any plant or cutting that I have come across was made a part of the Dougherty Garden.Over the years, I have come across, hundreds, if not, thousands of plants, that were captured in pictures and videos. Some of those I'll share with you on this blog.
