Here is one of those phone booth pictures, I think. It's one of the hundreds of pictures from the Denny Ferado collection of Yorkville Faces over the years. In this picture, two old friends on mine and the Dougherty Family of 85th Street.
We are looking at James Brady on the left and Bobby Fiala on the right. Bobby Fiala was one of the original backup singers for the Dell Satins. Every time that you would see him, he was singing.
After I joined the U.S. Marines, James Brady lived at the Dougherty apartment for some time and worked with my father downtown. He was a member of the family.
