Here is the candy store on the corner of 87th Street and 1st Avenue. The picture is from Brigid Wilkie. The inside of this luncheonette is long and narrow with booths on the right side, street side, and the left side had the lunch type counter. it was more of a soda fountain store.
If you walked to the right, you would be going towards York Avenue and St. Joseph's Church and School would be on the south side of 87th Street. (YF#014). Enjoy,
