Washington Palm Tree Seedlings #03 - Palm Trees of the Dougherty Garden

Scientific Name: Washingtonia robusta

Common Name: Washington Palm Tree Seedlings

Type of Plant: Palm Tree

The above seedlings are from the Washington palm tree in the Dougherty Garden. In its early days, it makes a great patio pot plant for several years. If you have the available space in your property, it'll make a great addition to your landscape.

For those that like uniqueness in plants, this Washington palm tree seedling has a tell tale sign that it is a Washington palm tree seedling. The is a red band on the base of the Washington palm tree seedling.

The Washington palm tree will grow about a foot a year. Like I said earlier, it makes a great patio plant that adds an unusual green prescence to your patio.
