Marie's Recipes R18 - Cheese Raviolis - Irisha Or Italiano -

Cheese Raviolis R18

We could eat pasta every day but sometimes you just have to hold back so that you don't over do it. Another pasta that is a favorite in the house is having Raviolis. Raviolis are fairly easy to make and a joy to eat. It just takes a few minutes to boil in the hot water. After doing a few meals of Raviolis, you'll get used to the correct time for your specialty.

One of the reason that I like Raviolis is that they are filled with Ricotta Cheese, although, not as fresh as what you get when you buy it in the store from the dairy section. But, one can survive because you still get a Ravioli stuffed with Ricotta Cheese. You can get the small ones but all the fun is when you get the large ones in a plastic bag.

I think that you get around 16 in a large bag of large Raviolis. When they are sitting on your plate, nothing is better that topping the Raviolis off with Pecorino-Romano Cheese. Enjoy

Quick Comment: Back in the early days when I came into the family, my one job that I did for my mother-in-law was to skim the tomatoe sauce with a large spoon to get the oil from the meats that were part of the sauce. I stayed close to the sauce and would get the benefit eating the remains of the Mozzarela and Ricotta Chese in the large bowl after my mother-in-law finished with the meal she was preparing. Thanks, Mary.

Another Pasta favorite from Marie's Kitchen.
