This is a picture that was taken sometime in the late 1940s or the early 1950s. I'm hoping to be corrected by a few of the relatives that can pinpoint it better with knowledge of some of the people in the picture.
I have to make a lot of assumptions about who is who in this picture because I was not in the family until 1966. I definitely know a few of the people in the above picture and will make a guess.
On the lady on the right side with the white apron, I believe is Josephine (Conchetta Iacone) Inzanti. the man to her left is her husband, Sam (Sammy) Inzanti. Their two boys were Paul (Paulie) Inzanti and Sonny Inzanti. I'm assuming the boy in the white shirt is Paulie Inzanti.
Since I belive that the boy is Paulie Inzanti, I also believe that the man he is leaning against, while sitting on the floor, is his grandfather, Carmelo Iacone. the woman with her arms around carmelo Iacone would be guessing for me but would say that it miht be Aunt Millie Carracciola Iacone.
Now, since this is an Iacone photograph, I'm going to say that most of the people in the picture are from the Iacone family and that the two men on either side of Aunt Millie are her brothers, John Iacone on the left and Joseph Iacone on the right side of the picture.
Now, looking at the picture and going to the left side for a moment, I'm concentrating on the older woman who issitting between the little girl on the left and the boy holding a bottle on the right. I believe that the older woman is Grandma Marietta (Lachetta) Iacone. The fur that she is wearing is similiar to another picture in the Iacone picture collection.
Now, getting to the last male in the above picture, I know for a fact that it is my father-in-law, Dominick Iacone. He is standing on the left side of the picture and looking very dapper in the sharp tie he is wearing. his wife and my mother-in-law isto hisleft in the picture and you can partially make out her head with Grandma Marietta Iacone siffing in front of her. I'm at a lost oif thst is my wife, Marie Elaine (Iacone) Dougherty. I hope she looks at the picture and gives me an idea of that it is her or another person.
