Here is the latest trend that is hitting the horse community out west in thewestern communities....assisted living facilities.
This picture is a few weeks old as the facility has been landscaped and most of the workers are now gone. It's a fairly large facility and is nearing completion and located on Lake Worth Road and west of the Florida Turnpike and a short distance from US 441/SR 7. . I can't find the picture of the other Assisted Living Facility which is located a short distance away on US 441/SR 7 and south of Lake Worth Road. When both facilities open, it should cause a small ripple in the medical employment market as people try to get closer to home and still work in the medical communtiy. I imagine that this is a golden opportunity for thsoe wishing to shorten their commute to work.
These are not small facilities and it looks like both are in the last stages before they officially open up. Just next to the Mall at Wellington Green is an upscale facility for the elderly and I assume that it is intended more for the ones with deep pockets. The beauty about that facility is that it is located next to a new rental community called AXIS (above picture) just down the street a bit. And to put icing on the cake, the Mall at Wellington Green has more stores and shops in and around these facilities. To add a bit more icing, you literally do not need to have a car to get around now that we are in the age of Uber, Lyft, etc.
