This is a picture that was taken while the Iacone family was living in Astoria, Queens, Long Island, New York City. When I came into the family, most, if not all the holiday parties, were celebrated at the Iacone home in Astoria, New York.
This picture was taken in the very ealy years in Astoria. You can see how young Mary Iacone looks in this picture. The couple to the right of mary Iacone are Rose and Fran Vitrano, Mary's sister-in-law and brother, respectively.
Taking a closer look at the picture, I can tell that the person to the left of Mary in the picture and in the background is Murray Roth, Mary's brother-in-law, who was married to Mary's sister, Josephine (Vitrano) Roth.
