1955 was a musical year and one that brought attention to a new genre of music that was hitting the airwaves...Rock N Roll. It was an era that was profoundly different that that of previous eras, and there was the portable radio that brought the music to the streets and to a large audience.
My group, Doo Wop Oldies of he 50s and 60s, is mostly about Oldies and Doo Wop sound of the early 1950s but also includes some other tunes that were popular during the era. Tha's why I did a search for for tune and started with 1955. Here os part of what I found in my search. enjoy.
