While in Spain, these are the Guardia Civil Patrol that you encounter while you are on liberty in Barcelona, Spain. While we were on one of our landings, we went into the local town to buy a few beers at the local tavern. Every town has a bar and we found the one in this little town.
We were enjoying our beer up until the time a civil patrol came to the door of the tavern and motioned to us that we were to leave. These guys have rifles but the civil guard we encountered had a burp gun and he used the weapon to tell us that it was time to leave. We honored his wishes and returned to the beach but we did get a few beers.
