French Commando Insignia SYS034
This is an French Commando insignia that i traded with a French Marine for my Lance Corporal insingia. I knew that I was getting a great trade but the French Commando was just as impressed with my insignias that we traded.
While we were on manuevers with the French Commandos, the brass thought that it would be a great opportunity to take up the offer of the top officer of the French command to have dinner together on the Island of Corsica. While we were eating witht he French commandos, the top officer of the French Commandos asked our Colonel what the Marines were drinking since he had brought suffuciant wine for all the troops. Our colonel gave the word that it was okay to drink the wine offered because we were the guests of the French. The word went out that we were okay to drink wine and all the canteen cups of milk were poured out and everyone lines up at the casks of wine and enjoyed some wine with the French troops.
