What are they doing to that tank? It's at a tank wash, or, on the beach washing off all the debris and soil that was carried in the tank threads while on military manuvers while on the island. The tank crew would run the tank in the salt water to remove anything that might be growing in the wheels or base of the tank. Running it back and forth in the Mediterranean Sea salt water removed most of the soil. The tank crew was a part of the crew on our LSD. This portion of the cruise was in Marmaris, Turkey.
