Highlining on a Navy Ship - SYS019
I can't find the name of this ship but it is an APA designation but is RB (Rockbridge) is an abbreviation of the actual ship's name. I can't find it at the moment. The name Rockbridge comes to mind but I can't find it at the moment on the internet. The person being highlined is in the middle of the picture and is wearing an orange jumpsuit and is hanging on a rope line between both ships in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
I can't clarify the picture with my computer but the ships are highlining a person from one ship to another ship. This was a training exercise that is carried out while at sea. I almost got to have this done for me but the corpman on my ship didn't think my infected finger was that serious to warrant a highline to the ship with a medical officer on it. I waited until we got to Cannes, France and saw the doctor on the larger ship and he told me that the corpsman should have highlined me to the other ship because he almost had to cut off my finger. That's a whole other story. Enjoy,
